Professional and amateur musicians from around the world auditioned for YouTube's first symphony orchestra. The audition tapes were judged by professional musicians from some of the most renowned orchestras from around the world.
The orchestra will be preforming a piece written by Chinese composer Tan Dun in Carnegie Hall tonight, April 15th, 2009. If you can't get to Carnegie Hall for the performance you can still listen to a Global Mashup of the Internet Symphony.
