This film explores the amazing life story of world-renowned Mexican painter Frida Kahlo with a focus on her marriage to Mexican painter Diego Rivera and the outrageous personalities that made the two legends. Salma Hayek, who also produced the film, won the Oscar for Best Actress for her portrayal of Frida.
